You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Faith

Always be joyful. Pray continually and give thanks, whatever happens. That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus. Do not hold back the work of the Holy Spirit. Do not treat prophecy as if it were unimportant but test everything. Keep what is good and stay away from everything that is evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22

I (Paul) mean that I want us to help each other with the faith that we have. Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you. Romans 1:12

He (Abraham) never doubted that God would keep His promise and he never stopped believing. He grew stronger in his faith and gave praise to God. Abraham felt sure that God was able to do what He had promised. So God accepted Abraham's faith and that faith made him right with God. Romans 4: 20-22

Since we have been made right with God by our faith, we have peace with God. This happened through our Lord Jesus Christ, who through our faith has brought us into that blessing of God's grace that we now enjoy. And we are happy because of the hope we have of sharing God's glory. We also have joy with our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce patience. And patience produces charater, and character produces hope. And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out His love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us. Romans 5:1-5

The Bible is full of stories and verses about faith. The above passages recently 'came together' for me, and mean a lot to me. As I write this, I notice Romans 1:12, again. Where Paul is saying that we are to help each other with our faith-your faith can help me, my faith can help you.

I'm curious if any of the passages above stand out to you or mean something to you. Or maybe you have another passage or verse about faith that means alot to you. I'd love to hear it. I'm curious as to how you help others with your faith, or how others have helped you. How have you put your faith in action? Or, how have you been impacted by another person's faith?

Let me know your thoughts. Also let me know if I can pray for you. Just click on that link that says 'additional thoughts' down below and type away. I'll look forward to hearing from you.
