You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

does anybody know...

exactly where in the Haitian adoption process is "Civil Judgment" ? It may be a step just before Parquet, or it may be a(n) (early) step in Parquet.

It is not listed here, which is the most recent info I have been able to find on the Haitian adoption process by someone working on them in Haiti.

Does anybody know?

  1. hey Lena,

As I understand it, this is where your file goes after ibesr... then it goes to parquet where approval is given for parents to change from bio to adoptive then it goes back to the judge...

    hope this helps

  2. Lena - Once the Adoption Authorization is issued from IBESR, the entire dossier is taken to the Tribunal where all the dossier documents are evaluated for authenticity and the authorization to type up the adoption decree and judgment decree is given. It will then go onto Parquet. What this all means is your dossier is in the step in between IBESR and Parquet and that is great news. Your dossier keeps on moving along. Praise the Lord! I am so happy for you and your little boys!!!

  3. Hey, so funny you would post this. I have an old step by step list on my blog. If you go to my blog on the right hand side it says Ellie adoption 101 or Jonas adoption 101 click on that and scroll down.
I just talked to colleen last night about this very thing and I do believe she is going to get all the info together and either send it to all the adoptive parents or write it up in the news letter she is working on.
