We made it to Haiti. Have had an exciting trip to get here-lots of trials/ups and downs and inconveniences....but none of that really matters. In fact, all it does is solidify the fact that we are supposed to be here...facing opposition and trials means that we're in fact doing God's work!
The guest house we're staying in is quite nice. The orphanage is great too- it is amazing what can be done with so little. The kids are great-I am definitely in love! LOL. Just had breakfast and are headed back to the orphanage-today begins the construction work and Vacation Bible School and of course, more holding & loving on babies and kids.
Haiti is an amazing country-very beautiful, very colorful. There many extremes here-seeing the hope and love and laughter in some faces, and the desperation and despair in others- it's quite a contrast.
Please continue to lift the team and the kids and nannies in prayer.
