You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

An Affair.........

Dear blog readers,

We need to talk.

It's true confession time.

I'm sorry.

Are you ready for this?

You better sit down.

I can't believe I'm about to type this, but I must.

It's time to come clean.

Are you ready?

Cheez-Its have been unseated as my all time favorite snack. I can hardly believe it. Cheez-Its are like crack to me-I rarely keep them in the house, because I can just not stay out of them. I LOVE them. If I could have, I think I would have married them. Slept with them-or at least, kept them in my bedroom, in a secret stash sort of place.

And yet, the other day, some other not so good for me, salty, crunchy snack caught my eye at the grocery store. Flirted with me. Beckoned me, really. It was like a huge magnet, drawing me in. It seemed harmless enough-after all, what could it hurt to just look?

What salty, yummy, crunchy snack you ask?

Oh my. A bit of salty, cruncy, tasty, hint of jalapeno-y goodness. YUM!

I have discovered a new favorite. I'm sorry Cheez-Its. It was great while it lasted. You'll always hold a special place in my heart, but I'm moving on.....

(PS, YES, I am fully aware these things are not good for me. They go against the grain of the healthy diet/eating habits I follow most of the time. I think that's part of what makes them so attractive! LOL)

  1. Thanks, Dawn. My hubby says I'm nuts. To which I responded, "You married me."
