You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

aaaahhhhh

I spotted this picture on the orphanage blog....
is it crazy that I can recognize my son from the side, in an instant?
In. An. Instant.
My heart leaped a little when I saw this picture.
I recognize his profile and his sweet little head that I just wanna kiss kiss kiss.
I recognize the way he is standing-his posture.
His ear.
His hand.
His fingers.
And, from a tiny tiny almost thumbnail size photo?
Oh well, I don't really care if it is crazy.
Steeve is in the blue shirt,
with friend Reece,
and Jonathon in the background.
Oh how I miss that skinny little kid, and long to hug him and kiss him.
Lord please be with Steeve
and let him know how much I love him and miss him.
And even more importantly,
let him know how much YOU love him.
Thanks.
Amen.

  2. I am so glad that blog gets updated occasionally. Just wistfully thinking about your kids all day long is so very hard. A picture now and then does good for a waiting Mama's heart. It's one thing to know they're alive and well, because someone would contact you if they weren't. It's a much more lovely and heart-soothing thing to see photo evidence that they're doing okay!
