You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

I'm alright

:-) Lest you all think I have really snapped, I just wanted to post a quick "I'm alright" tonight. I am okay. I am still here. And I am still sane (well, that is relative, isn't it?) LOL.

I did find out that we need to do this step, and it looks like we can do the new step the next time we are in Haiti. It sounds like we don't have to wait for our paperwork to catch up/reach a certain point for this new step, but rather that we can just go sign/do this new step and that will be good enough.

After all, 6 pounds of paper later (I weighed our dossier before I turned it in) it looks like we might not need to come up with another pound of flesh. That's how it looks now, and so I am going with that.

We shall see what develops.

Thanks for all your comments, support and prayers. It really does make a difference.

THANK YOU!

  1. Thank goodness for the support of our Heavenly Father AND our crazy, basketcase adopting friends! Without them both we would SURELY lose it.

  3. Hang in there Lena! It really isn't a huge deal. I have heard that it can be done when you go down for your dhs appt. God knows at any rate, and because of that, we can rest assured that everything will be alright.

I was once told, and now I hold on to it too....Every day that passes makes you one day closer to the boys being home with you!

  4. You are right, Stephanie-without my other adopting friends, I really would lose it.

Redmaryjanes-you are right too. I also have never seen anything like this before.

Sarah-you are right too-and most of the time, I know it and I manage okay. But every so often, I just want to scream-the frustration and the crazy "process" just gets to me. I have to vent or I might really blow up. And the prayers of God's saints (all of you that read and pray) makes all the difference.

You are right, each day is one day closer. And I trust God's perfect timing-His perfect plan. And so, we move ahead, one day at a time.

I really do feel better now. So thank you all.
