You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

quick update

I am home.

I have much to share, but not the energy to do it.....I am getting sick. Sore throat. I managed to survive the week without it-but now that I am home, it is hitting me. Hard.

The kids are great, Jack & Marcia are awesome.

I have lots of photos too. Watch for them.

If you gave me gifts for your kids or sponsored students, they were delivered. More details later.

If you don't know what I am talking about click on the words "sponsored student" and learn how you can help. A Haitian man and I had a conversation-and to quote him "education is life." You can help, for less than a dollar a day. Seriously people, get over your fear and greed and excuses and do SOMETHING to help. (yes, I am on a rant.)

I'm feeling exhausted and sad.

I'm amazed by God. I can't even begin to tell you the miracles I saw (many of them small, but miracles nonetheless). I will try, later.

I am content and at peace, even amidst the sadness and missing the boys.

I am super duper thrilled that a large number of children at the O are getting close to going home-I think maybe 8? In the next few weeks/months? They are at the end of the process or close. It's a miracle any Haitian child ever gets adopted and goes home. A MIRACLE, I say. It gives me much hope.

Going to do some laundry and take a nap. I need a nap. Sorry.

Hugs to all.

Three Angels Christian Academy/Project Christmas Angel

Here are a few pictures of the students and school.

Don't forget, for less than $1/day you can sponsor one of these students-for more information, click here. Education is the key to changing the future. You can really change a child's life for $27/month. Seriously. What would it take to come up with $27 a month? Not that much, for most of us. Even though times are tough-we (speaking mostly of Americans) are rich beyond measure. Give up something, (fast food, coffee, renting DVD's, a book, eating out). Or sell some of that stuff you have around your house and you don't use or enjoy and put your money to good use. Change a child's life, and change the world. Plus, you get pictures and to exchange letters etc. with the child you sponsor.

Or you could make a one time/year end donation to the orphanage, school or medical clinic here.
