You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Three more!

Map of Haiti with Port-au-Prince shownImage via Wikipedia

Three more children have gone home; to the US and their forever families in the past few weeks.

That makes 11 children home from Three Angels in a very short period of time. Praise God that Haitian adoptions do in fact get completed and approved and children do get to come home to their families.

Please keep these families and children in your prayers, as this is a time of grief and transition. So much to adjust to. New surroundings, new rules, new people, new language, new sights, new sounds, new smells. Pray that the children would begin to attach to their parents and siblings. Pray that the parents would have wisdom and patience for dealing with and teaching the children what they need to learn.

Also keep praying for the children and staff still in Haiti-as they say goodbye and go on with their day to day lives.

And pray for the families of children still waiting to go home.

Our day will come.

And another Haitian child moves closer to home....

I was contacted by another mom, who I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting in the real world, and she let me know that her daughter is almost home too-at the very end of the process...and they are praying she gets home before her birthday, which is in June.

Click here to read Abbie's blog.

That makes 9 NINE 9 children close to going home at Three Angels. (at least that I am aware of. I am not keeping an official list, this is just from moms/dads I have traveled with or met via blogland or facebook).

Wowsers.

So exciting!

God is great.

My heart is going to burst....good news in Haitian Adoptions

My heart is going to burst with joy, and in a good way......

:-)

Click on the names to read the good news.

I'm so happy for these families. And I'm aware of a few others that have had movement in their files this week. I think the last time I did a quick count, there are about 8 children in the end stages....almost home to their forever families at the orphanage where the boys are........The two families above account for 5 children.

Praise God.

I'm so excited.

God is faithful.

God is great.

Movement in the Haitian adoption process.

Stephania

This beautiful Haitian princess still needs a forever family.
Is God calling your family to adopt internationally? From Haiti?
A precious child with some special needs?
I've spent time with Stephania on each of my trips to Haiti, and she is an amazing little girl.
Seriously, AMAZING.
