Praising God that the children of Three Angels Children's Relief ("Angel House") are safe. Shortly after 11pm Arizona time on Weds, we rec'd word that Abbey (the American living there at the moment) got them out to safety and they stayed outside in an open area, away from the buildings. They have some food, water and fuel for the generator. please pray for ongoing safety-they really need God's protection. Pray for calm, peace-God's peace and presence to fill Port au Prince now.
If you want to help, here are a few suggestions:
Donate to the Haiti earthquake victims please consider
our small orphanage. The money you donate will directly go the victims
and it is tax deductible. Donate at the Three Angels Children's Relief website.
Please re-post this on to get the word out!! We do also have a medical clinic as part of the organization. Not sure yet exactly how things will work, but know that you can trust this organization to stretch your gift to the max.
Also, if you are touched by adoption in ANY way consider this:
I wanted to let you know that I just emailed the president, my two senators and
representative to ask them to do something to allow adoptive parents to get
their kids out of haiti in the aftermath.
I suggest you do the same.
Praying praying praying
go here to look up and contact your elected officials
Say something about where you are at in the process, or how you are touched by adoption, and if you are a waiting adoptive parent, that you are willing and
able to care for the children and the conditions of Haiti or whatever else God
puts on your heart.
feel free to forward this on to others you know touched by adoption.
It will take an act of God, but he is GOD, after all.
CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HAITI. God is still in control.
Thanks.
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Another good day.
Today we got a lot of work done.
Painting.
Cleaning.
Building.
Loving on the kids.
Playing with the kids.
Had the best dinner ever at the guest house.
There have been a lot of changes at the O since I've gotten involved. I like what I see.
The children at Three Angels Children's Relief are LOVED.
God is great.
Let's see, some random child updates:
Dave can recognize numbers and say most of his ABC's.
Ellie, Matu, Jamesly, Kethia and Kervens can say their whole ABC'S.
Rebecca, Sara and Jean Baptiste are absolutely adorable in their school uniforms.
Reece, Daniel, Steeve and Elmise are all seeming so grown up...big kids!
Jonathon is as cute and funny as ever.
Stephania is thriving downstairs.
Guerwyns (spelling?) is a baby boy looking for a forever family.
Lukeson is also a baby boy looking for his forever family.
Julie and Darwing are CUTE. Julie seems to have settled in, last time I was here, she was very new, and seemed so unsure of herself. Not any more!
Sebastian and Renato are cute cute cute! And happy too.
Hermann aka Armon is doing well. He took a very long nap today.
I'm sure there are others, but that's all I have time for now.
Keep your prayers coming!
G'nite.

Sunday
We went to church. The whole team, and the boys. Two people fell asleep in church. One was under the age of four. And one was not. :-) And he was asleep, asleep, not just nodding off. As in, someone tried to wake him a few times, and he did not respond. A picture was taken of said adult, however, it has since been deleted, due to an extreme amount of "trash talking" by the photographer. The Pastor laughed because the flash went off when the photo was taken. Oh yeah, we were sitting in the front two rows. Any guesses as to the identity of the sleepy head and the photographer?
It was fun to watch the boys get ready for church. Or more accurately, watch the nannies get them ready. I saw some hair care that I think I can manage, so that's encouraging. It's kind of like the boys are rockstars at the O, when we are here. They get to go out sometimes, they get their own clothes and some snacks and stuff. All the other kids know what/where the boys are going and so on. It's cute.
We did some cleaning and painting at the O today, along with the construction project out back. That is coming together well. I still can't believe that grill got here, as checked luggage. When you see the photos, you will understand why. Evidence that God is still in the miracle business.
Tomorrow, more painting, finishing up the kitchen, unpacking and organizing supplies. Also helping with some school stuff. Busy day.
Thanks for checking in.
Keep your prayers coming.
They are working.
